the gunshop café is a home away from home for many located in West End - Brisbane’s cultural centre. A relaxed environment filled with chatter and the enticing aromas of a busy kitchen. All our food is made with the best ingredients sourced directly from local markets. Our award winning* weekend breakfasts are notoriously busy therefore; no bookings are taken on the weekends.

We love the buzz of our breakfast and make every effort to extend our hospitality to all. It is best to come early for breakfast, after 9am there may be a slight wait for a tables.
We serve merlo coffee, somage ‘certified organic’ teas & mathew chi premium oriental teas for take away or have in.

Bookings for lunch and dinner are welcome. It is essential to book a table for Friday and Saturday nights. 
The gunshop café is a beautiful heritage building and can be hired as a venue for private functions – see functions page
