the gunshop café is a home away from home for many located in West End – Brisbane’s cultural centre. A relaxed environment filled with chatter and the enticing aromas of a busy kitchen.

All our food is made with the best ingredients sourced directly from local markets. Our award winning* breakfasts are notoriously busy therefore; no bookings are taken on the weekends.

+We love the buzz of our breakfast and make every effort to extend our hospitality to all. It is best to come early for breakfast, after 9am there may be a slight wait for a table.

+We serve fresh juices, merlo coffee,  mathew chi premium oriental teas for take away or dine in.

+Bookings for lunch and dinner are welcome. It is essential to book a table for Friday and Saturday nights.

+The gunshop café is a beautiful heritage building and can be hired as a venue for private functions – see functions page
